"Initially, I was interested in the dancers' costumes and accessories. Then try to join a dance studio and start studying until now," she added.

The dancer's blood from her mother also has an important role. Even so, her mother had no force to join the studio. According to him, her mother became her inspiration in mastering dance movements. Tara said that traditional dance is unique because it has the peculiarities of each region and province. Moreover, there is always a philosophical value in every movement and swing displayed.

"Alhamdulillah, UMM always accommodates me to develop my potential. My team and I had won several traditional dance competitions at the National level. In 2020, my team and I won 2nd place by performing the Geleng Ro'om dance from Madura at Kanjuruhan University, Malang. Then in 2021, they won 1st place in bringing the Jaripah dance from Banyuwangi at the Muhammadiyah University of Sukabumi, "explained Tara.

Every day, she lists activities and tasks that he must complete. That way, she can sort out which one should come first. That way, she can maintain the value of her lectures until she can get a perfect GPA.

After graduating from college, she intends to continue to be active as a dancer and hopes to invite Indonesian youth to preserve culture. Even though times are advancing, it must maintain culture. "Lecture is number one, but don't just be an ordinary student," she said. (apg/zak/wil)
