Rumah Baca Cerdas (RBC) Institute A Malik Fadjar again visited one of the schools in Malang Raya on Thursday (17/3). This time, the RBC team, together with the Thursday Reading Car (KaCa) University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), came to Al Izzah Batu Junior High School (SMP). On that occasion, they introduced students to writing, writing, and honing English skills.

Aldi Bintang, one of the writers, encourages students to discover their interests and talents. Once they are established, they can develop it by practicing or joining a community that supports their passion. One thing that can be improved is growing interest in writing from an early age.

“Pouring ideas and ideas through writing is fun. There are many things that we might not know before with the writings that we make. After writing, we can finally find out interesting things,” he added.

Aldi also thinks that writing has good benefits for language skills. The papers that are made are also significant to the readers because they can add inspiration and motivation, especially if the compiled work has more value and can benefit others.

In addition to writing material, RBC UMM also invites students to play games in English. Students are introduced to exciting terms and descriptions of various tools. Rochmatika Nur Annisa, who led the game, said that the games could hone students' abilities. Mainly in absorbing the languages of other countries, one of which is English.

According to him, English is an aspect that students must master to face future challenges. It is undeniable, communication with foreign countries will increase with the rapid flow of information. So, language skills must be owned and put to good use.

Furthermore, Annisa also invited the participants to come to the KaCa car. The students, who numbered more than a hundred, seemed enthusiastic about taking the various books provided. Some are also interested in seeing the educational shows that Mobil KaCa UMM provides.

“Hopefully, the two materials and books we provide can foster students' enthusiasm for learning and reading. That way, they can develop their potential and become good leaders in the future," he concluded. (cdr/*/wil)
