To host a national competition after the pandemic situation takes work. However, the University of Muhammadiyah Malang succeeded in doing that when it conducted the 35th National Students' Scientific Week event (Translated: Pekan Ilmiah Mahasiswa Nasional) well and quickly. After the judging agenda toward student participants, the Director of the Judge of PIMNAS 2022, Prof. Akhmad Fauzy, S. Si., M. Si., Ph. D., delivered the idea.

The man who serves as the University of Islam Indonesia Statistics Department professor values that UMM's capability to organise national and international events is undeniable. He added, "The White Campus was the first campus that conducted an event physically Since the pandemic started spreading. Therefore, UMM prepared new things to ensure the running of the event, starting from the readiness of the health team, strict use of face masks, and effort to utilise the paperless concept during the competition."

Fauzy, as he familiarly called, continued that usually, as many as 4000 students participate in the PIMNAS event. Nevertheless, as COVID-19 is still vulnerable to infection, the participants were limited to 1523, divided into 17 classes. He argues that the number of participants is ideal in the pandemic situation, primarily since UMM must fulfil many requirements as the event host. One of them was to consider the condition of classes and venues used so that the competitions could run effectively, objectively, and transparently.

Meanwhile, the judges who assessed the 35th PIMNAS event consisted of 53 people divided into two and fifty-one. The primary two people: the head and secretary, served as program coordinators, while the rest were assigned to assess each class. "Hopefully, these nine categories of the PKM can generate creative, innovative, solutional young intellect to solve problems encountered by society."

The White Campus also provided additional facilities like food and clothing bazaars to relax. Also, the same thing applies before or after they present their product in the competition. The University of Muhammadiyah, for example, might provide Container Café, Sengkaling Recreational Park, etc. The guests and student participants can also choose three accommodations owned by UMM, such as Rayz Hotel, Kapal Garden, and MyDormy. Aside from that, the beautiful and green environment of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang made the competition more supportive.

Ilham Choiri, a student from the University of Jambi, uttered a similar statement. He judges that the 35th PIMNAS event in UMM was competitive and jolly. The event committee was also responsive and spry when the participants faced difficulties and sought help. "For instance, the opening ceremony was amazing because the agenda was great and was conducted inside the Dome UMM. The performance also garnered our interest and focus like dances, group band, and metaverse button switching.", he uttered.

Ilham, as familiarly called, feels grateful that the 35th event of PIMNAS was conducted in Malang since the region has a calm environment. He argues that UMM has a modern building, an adequate facility, a large lake, and shady trees. Also, the participants with a disability can easily participate because the infrastructures are accessible to them.
