The name of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) is again fragrant in the national arena. This time, Adie Prasetia Maulana Utama, a UMM Faculty of Medicine student who won 2nd Place in the League 1 Undergraduate Selection of Outstanding Students (Pilmapres) of Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Colleges (PTMA) 2022. This event has been taking place since April, and the winner announcement was on Saturday (4/04). 6) then.

Adie, his nickname, said that at first, he did not expect to be appointed to represent UMM in the PTMA Pilmapres event in 2022. During the event, there were several stages he had to go through. Starting from the registration stage, selection stage one, poster presentation, and ended with the announcement with five selected finalists. In addition, a series of files must be completed, two of which are achievement posters and posters of ideas that will be presented.

"Considering that this activity is an event for selecting outstanding students from Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah universities throughout Indonesia, the competition is very tight, and you have to prepare mentally carefully," he added.

The poster of the idea has the title "GEBRAK (Joint Action Movement for Mental Health Care)." He departed from the post-Covid-19 pandemic, which impacted the community's mentality—Moreover, the public's lack of knowledge about it. So, armed with his ideas, he wants to educate the public regarding mental health through a creative campaign.

"I also want this creative campaign to increase awareness among others and provide an understanding of the importance of maintaining mental health," he added.

Previously, this 2019 FK student had won many achievements. Both at the regional and national levels. From the champion of the Java-Bali health education TikTok, the winner of the Java-Bali health poster, to the champion of the national health education video, and many more. In addition, he has also been a Unit Behavior Change Ambassador in handling Covid-19 in 2021.

Adi believes that opportunity doesn't come twice. It is what drives him to continue to excel. According to him, being a graduate student is only once in a lifetime, so you must make the best use of your time. Must be filled with skill development, continue to hone thoughts, and not be satisfied with achievements and achievements. In addition, organizational activities are also felt to form responsibilities and get used to time management.

"The trigger for my passion for keeping improving is not being complacent and opportunities that don't come twice. When the opportunity comes, it should be used as much as possible," he said.

This student from Bojonegoro, in fact, still wants to continue to excel and be proud of the name of UMM. He wants to continue developing and honing his skills to make his parents and nation proud while competing in the international arena.(Haq/Wil)
