2022-2026 is a high target to be achieved by the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) in the International Accreditation. This started with the official status of UMM as a member of the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) and the Eurasian Universities Union (EURAS). Meanwhile, UMM officially became a member of AUAP and EURAS last September.
Risa Herlianita, S.Kep, Ns., MS. as the Head of the Cooperation Section at the Bureau of Institutional Administration, Human Resources Development and Cooperation (KSK), explained that AUAP is a society that accommodates its members to collaborate and interact. Mainly in terms of culture, social, political, and economical in the Asia Pacific region. Meanwhile, EURAS is a non-profit international association engaged in exchanging knowledge and practices at the best higher education institutions to create advancements in global education standards in the Eurasia region.

Risa, her nickname, said that this was the first step for UMM in recognizing international accreditation. In addition, it is also an effort to widen global networks to open new collaborations. This step is a form of implementation of the UMM White Campus in achieving achievements or milestones for the year 2022-2026.
"Joining us in this university association certainly provides many advantages. Starting from the increase in links and the possibility of cooperation to the world view of UMM," she added.
This UMM Nursing Lecturer said that the form of cooperation was not just an international conference. But also the exchange of knowledge, practice, research, to cultural exchanges between countries. So that through these forums, UMM relations with universities in the AUAP and EURAS associations are well established.

"Through this activity held by AUAP and EURAS, I think UMM can join an ideal forum in networking with other universities from all over the world and strengthening international cooperation," she added.
In the process, his party had to wait for one month before being inaugurated as a member of the two associations. Even the document process became one of the essential points so that the White Campus could be one of the participants. "UMM already has hundreds of collaborations at national and international levels. But the amount is insufficient and must be increased to provide wider benefits.
