Inspired by the Citayam Fashion Week event in the capital city, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) through its charity Rayz Hotel UMM held Sky Rooftop Fashion Week. This fashion show was held on Wednesday (03/08) at The Sky Rooftop Rayz UMM. Not only inviting the Student Executive Board (BEM) and Putra Putri Kampus (PPK), this event also invited several Instagram and TikTok celebrities from Malang. A total of 50 students were involved in this activity.
Hotel Manager Rayz UMM, Yanuar Arifien, said that this event was an event that encouraged students to be creative, especially in the fields of fashion and creative content. It is also expected to be the initial step for Rayz Hotel UMM to collaborate with students and invited influencers.
“We want to give the best for students as one of the charities that UMM has. In addition to this event, we will also provide special discounts for students. It includes a 15% discount on stay and special cruel and cappuccino dining packages for only 15,000. This discount can be obtained using the UMM Student Identity Card (KTM), "said Arifien.

On the same occasion, Maharina Novia Zahro, S.Ikom, one of the UMM Public Relations staff, explained that with this opportunity, students such as PPK, BEM, and influencers who are members of the UMM Digital Team can collaborate with Rayz Hotel. In its journey, hopefully, this event can produce works that can be enjoyed and well received by the wider community.
“This is not the first and last agenda, we hope that this program can continue to synergize both formally and informally. The result of this program is creative content, so this does not need to be taken seriously. This, later friends can discuss non-formally outside the event, "said the alumni of the UMM Communication Science Department.

Not only presenting a fashion show, this event also presents live music and dishes that pamper visitors' tongues. Furthermore, Rina said that with the formation of this collaboration, the digital creative content of the UMM team would continue to develop.
"The pandemic has distanced one side from another. That's what makes friends do not know each other. Hopefully, with this moment, we can establish a relationship between one another, especially between students and Rayz Hotel UMM," she concluded. (cdr/syi)
