Furthermore, in his speech, Fauzan said that the campus is an academic system to prepare future generations. Therefore, preventing negative things such as drugs and sexual violence is one of the campus's responsibilities. "We express our gratitude for the trust of related institutions to UMM to launch this program. Hopefully, we can carry out this mandate well in the future, "said Fauzan.

In line with Fauzan, Head of Sub-section for the General Affairs of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Malang City, Yudha Wirawan, SE., MM, explained that Malang as an education city has a very high population mobilization. When conditions were expected before the Covid-19 pandemic, thousands of students came to Malang. Therefore, with this synergy, it is hoped that it can help BNN eradicate drugs and sexual violence.

"With a large number of population mobilizations, we cannot be maximal in preventing and eradicating drugs without assistance from the campus. Hopefully, with this declaration, we can help eradicate drugs and sexual violence in the campus environment," said Yudha.

The declaration activity was attended by employees from UMM, LLDIKTI, KORPRI, BNN, UMM students, and even international students at UMM. Not only declarations, but this event also contains education on preventing sexual violence and drugs. In addition, a Pap smear examination or early detection of cervical cancer is carried out by the Bromo laboratory team and the UMM Hospital (RS).

Interestingly, there was a healthy walk that was attended by hundreds of participants. Departing from the UMM Helipad, the group continued to walk until they ended up at Sengkaling Recreation Park, one of the business units owned by the White Campus. Participants also have the opportunity to win prizes that the organizers have prepared. (cdr/syi/wil)
