"Creating an Ululalbab (intelligent human being) to make khairu ummah (the best people) as the Prophet Muhammad preached. Through UMM, we are optimistic about creating superior generations to face dynamic global challenges without neglecting Islamic values," he said.

Furthermore, he briefly mentioned one of the hadiths, which means that the best human being is the most useful to others. According to him, it is not only a personal matter but also the responsibility of UMM as an educational institution. UMM has implemented this through the Center of Excellence (CoE) and various student development programs. It is especially considering that young people are the assets of Muhammadiyah as well as the assets of the nation.

"Student today, leader tomorrow is our motto. We must continue to develop this kind of human resources. It is not only a personal task but also our common task. We have done that through UMM, and our predecessors have also established this culture before us. Therefore, we must maintain and develop these things," he said.

On the other hand, the Rector of UMM for the 2020-2024 Period, Prof. Dr. Fauzan, M.Pd, said that UMM has already initiated many pilot programs. Such as CoE, Center for Future Works (CFW) and Professor of Community Development Motivator (P3M). He hopes these programs will continue to be intensified and developed more.

"Our CoE has collaborated with 189 domestic companies and agencies; there is also P3M, which many agencies and various regional leaders in Indonesia also see. Creating a program should not merely start from scratch. There must be real benefits that the community and the nation can feel," he explained.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Muhammadiyah HQ, Prof. Dr. H. Haedar Nashir, MSi. Appreciated UMM and gave the predicate that the White Campus is a leading PTMA and can provide renewable pilot innovations. This made UMM a role model in PTMA throughout Indonesia. This is due to UMM's many achievements, starting from superior accreditation and having breakthroughs that many parties need.

Finally, he advised the new UMM Rector and all PTMAs throughout Indonesia to maintain and improve quality. PTMA must become a centre of research and provide new perspectives on the global community, nationality, and humanity. In addition, feel free to invite the predecessors (seniors) to make various developments in various sectors.

"Mr. Nazar and other executives should not hesitate with seniors, get their lessons and knowledge. Likewise, there are still many seniors above me. If there is still hesitation, making development breakthroughs is usually somewhat hesitant. Thus, UMM must be able to continue the good and develop breakthroughs, "he concluded. (wil/put)
