University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) is exploring various cities to hold an education fair (Edufair) earlier this year. Counted thousands of students come and see. This activity was carried out throughout January 2023 in seven cities on the island of Java.

Especially in class 12 high school students in Indonesia. At the beginning of this year, UMM did not only focus on Central Java (Central Java) and East Java (East Java), but outside Java, such as Kalimantan, Lombok, Sulawesi, Sumatra, and others. Seven areas have been visited: Bojonegoro, Lamongan, Kudus, Madiun, Ponorogo, Kediri, and Pati Regency. Nearby, his party will visit Trenggalek, Tulungagung, and several points on the island of Madura.
"In-person recognition like this has a different impression than online promotion on social media. Many things can be conveyed directly to students in the regions,” said the woman from Gresik.
UMM provides significant consultation and offers interest and aptitude test services to visitors. By doing this, they can find out their potential and what their character is. Then the UMM also recommended professions by the students’ personalities and used them to determine which majors to choose later.
“In addition to interest and aptitude tests, we introduce the metaverse superior metaverses to visitors through the various games. So friends can try directly how to enter the world of the metaverse and interact in it," said Maharina.

On the other hand, one of the visiting teachers, Adi Badi Permana, said that many of his students still couldn't decide on their majors. So this talent interest test helps them. He also hoped that UMM would be present not only in Pati but also in various regions. Especially those that are rarely visited.
In line with Adi, one of the PGRI 1 Mejobo Kudus Vocational Schools, Artika Fatmawati, said that the interest and aptitude tests that UMM conducted were perfect. This enlightens her and her friends, who still need clarification about its potential.
“The test results that came out were in perfect agreement with me. I am also happy because the major I want is in one of the professional recommendations I got from the test.
