Rayz UMM Presents Jogja Special Food at Ramadan Iftar

Foods from the city of Jogja are famous for their deliciousness and unique taste that other regions don't have. Through the Ramadhan Feast program, Sunshine Restaurant presents a variety of special foods from Jogja to accompany the iftar time of the people of Malang. Located on the first floor of Rayz hotel, University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), the atmosphere of iftar will feel very relaxed with views of the swimming pool and the evening sky.

Head Chef of Rayz UMM hotel, Cucun Rusmana, said that this Ramadhan Feast program would present 31 typical menus from student cities that guests can enjoy as much as they want. At the Ramadan Iftar event, Sunshine Restaurant set three special menus that will always be there every day. The three menus are gudeg, letheg noodles, and Soto lethok. "In Ramadan last year, we served Solo specialties. From this experience, we see that the interest of the people of Malang is quite good for the special foods of the Central Java region. Therefore, we are trying to bring back the typical food of Central Java by bringing unique foods that exist in Jogja," said Rusmana.

In line with Rusmana, Rayz Hotel Manager UMM Yanuar Arifien explained that this Ramadan Iftar would be from April 2 to May 1. Guests can enjoy these typical Jogja menus by only spending 120,000 rupiahs per person.

"With the price of 120,000, visitors can enjoy as much food as they want because our system is all you can eat. We also have a special offer; for those who order an iftar package for a group of ten, we will provide a free food package for one person. In addition to these offers, we will also open iftar and Suhoor packages, complete with rooms starting at 650,000 rupiahs," explained Rusmana.

Not only breaking the fast, but guests can also enjoy a live cooking show performed directly by the chefs of Sunshine Restaurant. There is also an amphitheater facility where visitors can enjoy watching movies.
