"We chose the theme of local wisdom as a way for them to think and find out about each other's traditions. It also introduces the distinctiveness of various regions," she added.

This annual performance is a collaboration between the lecturer of Art Studies and Karawitan Studies featuring craft art, batik creativity, dance creations, and musical arrangements. There is also a batik creation with a local wisdom pattern. Unlike the traditional batik, the patterns displayed are not only sourced from pakem batik but must display the patterns of each region.

Such as NTB which has Uma Lengge, a traditional building used as a residence and granary. The students will draw it as a pattern and put it into their batik. Uniquely, this event showcases the results of dance and music that they arrange independently. They are free to be creative in the rhythm and dance movements that they will perform.

Delora explained that this event was aimed at developing creativity skills and courage, especially for elementary school educators. For those elementary school educators. Meanwhile, one of the students who performed Norma Laksmi said she was happy and was challenged by this performance. She and her team managed to perform karawitan after two months of training. Although she felt nervous, she was satisfied with the performance.

"It's certainly a wonderful example of preserving and introducing culture. Moreover, many youths nowadays do not care about Indonesian culture. Hopefully, it will inspire the others to do the same thing," said the student from Tulungagung. (*tri/wil/put)
