The pandemic has been going on for two years, the dangerous effects of the Covid virus are still threatening. Forms of prevention and health protocols continue to be encouraged to reduce the transmission rate. Hanif Yulia Aprigianti and Arvil Rohmaturrizqi, two Pharmacy students at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), did the same thing.

The compiled health and Covid prevention posters were rewarded with silver medals in early January 2022. The award was successfully obtained at the national poster competition held by the Sekolah Tinggi Farmasi (STF) Muhammadiyah Tangerang, Banten.

The poster concept that was carried out successfully beat 80 participants from various universities, both public and private universities. Hanif, his nickname, said that the prepared posters contained valid and exciting data, concepts, and data sources. The design is also made to make it easier for people to understand.

"In this poster, we created the character of Mulan as a means of introducing and getting closer to the community. So that they can be interested and at least pay attention to the details regarding Covid-19. Moreover, there are more and more types of this virus, ranging from Delta to Omicron types," she explained.

Not only is a persona, but Mulan also has an extension and an explanation. M, which means vaccinating, U, choosing the suitable mask, and L, physical distancing. While the last two letters, AN, are the recommendation to wash hands.

The health protocol was also an important point he conveyed. Even though the restrictions have started to loosen, it doesn't mean that people can just ignore the protocols that must be implemented. Malls, cinemas, and other closed spaces are still places with the threat of the Covid-19 virus that needs to be monitored.

Hanif considered that success in winning the competition could not be separated from the support from the campus, especially the faculty. Providing competitive information, various guidance, and input made their work better.

This achievement is not the end, and Hanif is even determined to take part in other competitions to bring back the name of the White Campus. Likewise, with his efforts to actualize the knowledge he has acquired.

"So the knowledge I get is not only useful for myself. But it can be used and provide good for the wider community, especially in the health sector," he concluded. (cdr/*/wil)
