The Excellent Accreditation, again achieved by the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), became one of the main provisions to lead other universities to attain the World Class University (WCU) title. It was conveyed by the Head of LLDIKTI Region VII, Prof. Dr. Dyah Sawitri, S.E., M.M., in submitting the UMM Excellent accreditation certificate at Rayz Hotel last Friday (9/9).
Dyah believes that UMM can become a higher education leader to achieve WCU. However, there need to be clear indicators so that people can feel. One of them is superior accreditation. Then there is also a management information system for higher education. So, some things can prove that the quality of the related universities is indeed good.
"We certainly congratulate and succeed to UMM White Campus. We also hope that UMM can continue improving international-based higher education quality. Even with available positions that continue to increase," she added.

She also appreciated the various programs that had been carried out by UMM, especially those targeting the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM). Especially with the Center of Excellence (CoE) and the Center for Future of Work (CFW) initiated by UMM. According to him, this is part of efforts to color higher education in Indonesia.
"Finally, I want to convey that private and State universities are no different. The output is the same, even with the assessment indicators. The only difference is who the founder behind it is, whether government or non-government. So I'm sure the college and our children are cool and able to compete with other universities," she said.
Meanwhile, the Rector of UMM, Dr. Fauzan, M.Pd., is grateful for Superior's successful accreditation. According to him, accreditation is the breath and life of universities. So, gratitude is the main thing to address this achievement.

"Gratefulness has its manner by not including a sense of pride in oneself. Even with efforts to take lessons from what has been given by Allah SWT, "said the Chancellor from Kediri.
Fauzan also briefly discussed the importance of human resources in taking advantage of the demographic bonus and welcoming Indonesia's golden 2045 later. Therefore, UMM tries to contribute, one of which is through CoE, to produce a skillful generation to support Indonesia in the future. Likewise, CFW encourages young people to master the jobs of the future.
Excellent accreditation is the highest peak of accreditation of a university at the national level. Several aspects are assessed, starting from existing human resources, scientific publications, internal quality assurance, and a series of others. There are only a handful of universities that can achieve this accreditation. UMM also had A accreditation in the previous period and was converted to Superior last year. This year, the White Campus managed to maintain it thanks to good performance in various aspects. (cdr/wil)
