The holy month of Ramadan is a month full of blessings, both to earn rewards and to connect ties of friendship. This prompted the Rinjani Workshop at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) to hold fast-breaking (bukber), sharing takjil, and suhoor on the road (SOTR) during Ramadan. Hundreds of takjil, food, and drinks were distributed in an effort to take advantage of the holy month. This activity was also enlivened by RSDC training course institutions, mechanical training instructors, RSDC students, Commander Dohar Alutista Arhanud, Muhammadiyah University Riders (MURid), UMM Adventure (UMMad), UPT Pujon Hills, and several colleagues.

The agenda for breaking the fast together and for takjil took place on Thursday (21/4). Starting from the afternoon until before breaking. After distributing the food, Rinjani Workshop also provides tausiyah before breaking the fast and then closing it in a friendly manner.

General Manager of Rinjani Workshop UMM, Eka Kadharpa Utama Dewayani, SE. MM. said that basically, the series of agendas aim to share sustenance with others. In addition, it is also a forum for gathering with stakeholders. According to him, Ramadan is a good start to building noble habits, one of which is sharing.

“This event also aims to build a network with other friends. In addition, it is also a place to exchange experiences and innovations. We live in a business environment, so of course, we need a lot of networks to run it. The point is friendship," he said.

It didn't stop there, the Rinjani Workshop team also held SOTR two days later. Departing at twelve in the morning, they distributed hundreds of food packages to people in need. Not limited to scavengers, but also project workers, pedicab drivers, garbage cleaners, and others.

"I think this is also an effort for us to get used to our friends to spread kindness. Not only in the month of Ramadan but also on other days," added the lecturer from Malang.

Eka, her nickname, hopes that this sharing activity can be continued and become a monthly routine. According to him, the holy month is only the beginning. All goodness must be continued both worship Allah SWT and spread goodness to others. (Ros/Wil)
