Social Service in Pujon and Ngantang Ends UMM Ramadhan Syiar Series

Social service activities (Baksos) ended a long series of Syiar Ramadhan Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). Bringing a large group, the White Campus team went to the locations, namely Pujon and Ngantang, Malang Regency on Wednesday (27/4). The meatballs are part of the UMM Sharing for the Country program which has been implemented by the White Campus for a long time.

Previously, UMM shared with the country that they had carried out various activities. Starting from breaking the fast with the Women's Prison, sharing sacrificial animals, visiting earthquake victims, and so on. On this occasion, the UMM team not only provided assistance in the form of basic necessities but also provided health checks for the community and consulted on parenting. In addition, it also invites children to play, and tell stories to present interesting reading through the Thursday Reading car (KaCa) and Bakti to the Country (Flying). The Muhammadiyah University Riders (MURid) delegation also joined the social service this time.

After the departure of the social service group, UMM Vice-Chancellor II Dr. Nazaruddin Malik, M.Sc. considered that this was an effort for the White Campus to participate in sharing blessings. Especially in the holy month of Ramadan, where else will it end. He also added that UMM was ready to contribute to various activities. Especially those who can smile.

Nazar, his nickname, explained that the allocation of funds used was sourced from infaq of employees and lecturers as well as outside communities who also wanted to contribute. Donors also contribute so that the funds collected can be distributed properly to those in need.

"Hopefully what we are trying to get the happiness of Allah SWT. I also hope that the social service model that is being carried out will be developed and developed in other forms,” he added.

Meanwhile, Social Service Coordinator, dr. Sri Adila Nurainiwati, Sp.KK. says that the choice brings a lot of groups that have each. Call it a pick-up car that carries packages of basic necessities, a KaCa car that provides games and reading, a flying car that also provides gifts for the children who attend, and a number of other groups.

“Don't forget, we also provide a car ambulance with several doctors for health checks and free care consultations to the community. That way, they can find out their health conditions so they can be treated immediately if they are found to be suffering from a disease,” he said.
