In human life is required to learn and explore the science of religion. Not without reason, these two things will lead people to a good and proper way of life. That's what Dr. Abdul Haris, M.A. in the study of Baitul Arqom with the theme of practical guidance on religious life. The event took place at the UMM Dome Theater on Saturday (14/4).
Furthermore, Haris explained that Allah SWT had provided a complete set of living tools in living life. The device is a member of the body that is second to none. In addition, to help human life in the world, Allah SWT also sent down four instructions in the form of instinct, senses, reason, and religion.
"Each clue has its function. First, instinct is used so that humans understand what they want, for example, hungry, tired, in danger, and others. Meanwhile, the senses are used to distinguish something good or bad for the body, such as poisoned food. Continue to the mind that can be used to think. Finally, religion will be the sign to distinguish between good and bad," said the Head of the Islamic Education Doctoral Department.
In its development, reason and religion must be honed. Therefore, Haris said that humans must continue studying and studying religious knowledge. If a man does not develop these two directions, his life will be difficult. "Humans will have difficulty living life because we do not study it well. Even though Allah SWT has given various instructions for life in the Koran," said Haris ending.
On the other hand, in the event, Dr. Mursidi, MM. delivered material about Muhammadiyah as an Islamic movement and organization. The establishment of Muhammadiyah itself is based on the Qur'an Al-Imran verse 104. The letter reads, "And let there be a group of people who call on goodness, command (do) what is right, and prevent what is wrong. And they are the lucky ones."
"Through this letter, we as Muhammadiyah people are required to call for goodness and prevent evil. If doing good is an easy thing, we have to do good deeds or carry out the commands of Allah SWT. The difficult thing is to prevent evil. The weakest of one's faith is to prevent evil in the heart," he said. (cdr/syi/wil)
