Educational development is carried out in the classroom, curriculum and learning bases also have an essential role. Seeing this, the Indonesian Communication Science Higher Education Association (Aspikom) held a Forum Group Discussion (FGD). The University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) was appointed as the host this time. The FGD, which was held on March 17-18, examined the theme "MBKM Narrative and Projected Cooperation: Sharing Experiences and Partnerships."

Nasrullah, S. Sos, M.Sc. as the Head of Communication Studies Study Program, UMM, thanked Aspikom for appointing UMM as the host. He reported 150 participants from the Communication Studies study program throughout Indonesia who took part in the celebration. Starting from Aceh to East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The most came area was the campus from West Java (Jabar).

"If I pay attention, there are many Kaprodi present who are UMM alumni, both alumni as students and alumni of lecturers," said Nasrullah.

Meanwhile, the Head of Aspikom, Dr. Muhamad Sulhan, said that in the past, he was not very interested in joining Aspikom. However, when invited by Prof. Setia Budi, it turns out that his mind is becoming more and more open. The exciting and good things he got from Aspikom he shared with many parties. He also considered that Communication Studies in Indonesia would continue to develop along with the development of this Aspikom.

In addition to the conditions, the Covid-19 pandemic has brought positive values to this association. One of them is the name Aspikom which exploded in the Metaverse world. It happened because the Kowil of each region held an agenda at least twice every month.

“Aspikom is always ready to face the changing times. Neat coordination and core values also continue to be implemented. This association is a big family, and I welcome new friends to the Aspikom family,” he said.

On the other hand, Prof. Dr. Muslimin, M.Si., as the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) UMM, said that his party would ratify the learning outcomes of graduates (CPL) and Merdeka Learning and Merdeka Campus (MBKM). According to him, three aspects must be understood when becoming a lecturer or lecturer. The three are the vision and mission of the study program, the CPL determined by the study program, and understanding the profiles of its graduates.

Furthermore, Muslimin considered that the themes studied in the agenda could be an essential point in developing future communication studies. Likewise, MBKM has become a national standard in implementing higher education.

"Samuel Huntington said that if you want to become a professional, at least three conditions must be met. Unique skills, high social responsibility, and togetherness in a container. And I believe all three can be found at Aspikom Indonesia so that we can strengthen our kinship, "he concluded. (cdr/haq/wil)
