Graduation Level and Graduate's Quality
Graduate's standard at UMM can be seen from several indicators such as graduation level, graduate's GPA and graduate's competence. The graduation level is measured from the percentage number of the graduates compared to current student s every year, where each academic ladder at UMM has very varied scores. For undergraduate and diploma programs, the scores are still good and it tends to increase where from 31 study programs of undergraduate level (S1) spread in 11 faculties show an increase in the last 2 years. The increase started in 2005 until the recent days with 22% of percentage in 2005 and 23% in 2006 (See Table 24).

It is also experienced by Diploma Program (D3) at UMM, such as; D3 of Electronics Engineering, D3 of Finance and Banking Management and also D3 of Nursery. From those three, it resulted on relatively good graduation level and increased in the last 2 years, each of them; 39% in 2005, and 32% in 2006.

At Masters Program, graduation percentage experienced a less encouraging number in the last three years where starting from 2002 there was decrease from 45% to 18% in 2006. In 2005, it even experienced 10%. It was because of there was new opening of some courses of Masters Program, such as; Masters of Agribusiness and Masters of Education Development Policy (2003), Masters of Law Science (2004) and Masters of Psychology (2007). Thus, the number of students of Masters Program increased significantly. UMM determines a policy to provide facility for graduates of undergraduate program to continue their study at UMM Masters Program by giving for example fee waivers. It made there is increasing number of undergraduate program students who continued to UMM Masters Programs.
