UMM students are directed and conditioned so they are able to think critically and analytically to develop a realistic scientific attitude.
Development of reasoning is also a means of forging the process of learning so in the future students can develop a synthesis system of creative ideas which are useful to the environment.
 
Reasoning development activities consist of: scientific discussion, seminars, workshops, student research, publication and student press, scientific journals, campus publishing, scientific writing contest, productive innovative scientific contest and others.
