Student organization activities receive much needed attention at UMM.
Students are accomodated through various organizations both on and off campus. Several on-campus organizations available for students to train themselves are: Student Executive Board/Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM), Student Senate, Semi-autonomous institution/Lembaga Semi Otonom (LSO) right at university level or faculty level and Department Student Association.
Off-campus organizations at UMM among others are: IMM, HMI, GMNI, KAMMI, etc. For Student Activity Unit which is related to interest and talent and will be explained separately.
Every year UMM provides particular funds for the organizations to development.
