           Once being launched in the office of  Muhammadiyah Central Leadership in Jakarta last week, the book "Jati Diri dan Profesi TNI: Studi Fenomenologi/Identity and Profession of TNI: Phenomenological Studies" by Muhadjir Effendy would be reviewed in the Masters Degree Program (PPs) University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). The review would take place on this Saturday (10/31).

           Deputy Director I of Masters Degree Program, Prof. Dr. Syamsul Arifin, said he had invited the reviewers, among others, Prof. Dr. Hotman M. Siahaan, Dr. Indria Samego and Prof. Dr. Bahtiar Effendi. Meanwhile, in the keynote speech it would be delivered by the Military Commander of V Brawijaya, Mayjen of TNI Suwarno. "Some of the speakers have already confirmed," said Syamsul.

           Syamsul further said that all students of UMM Masters Program are expected to attend the event to strengthen understanding of research methodology. It is because the book is taken from a dissertation that used a methodology that is rarely used in viewing military issues, namely phenomenology.

           Book review would take place in the hall of UMM Masters Program and it is open to the public. However, because of limited space, the committee chairman Dra. Vina Salviana, Msi, said she firstly imposed registration of participants at the administration office of Masters Program on working days. (nash/t_alf)
