| More than 1.200 administrators of Muhammadiyah will attend in Dome UMM, Saturday-Sunday. |
Regional Leadership of Muhammadiyah (PWM) East Java held Ramadan Lectures at University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). The event would take place for two days, Saturday-Sunday (8/11-12) in Dome UMM.
More than 1.200 participants consist of Local Leadership up to Branch Leadership and Ortom Leadership would take part in this annual event. They would be placed in the student boarding house UMM and in the classrooms which have been made over to be bedroom. Meanwhile, for VIP guesses would be placed in UMM Inn hotel. In addition, the committee has provided about 1300 beds to anticipate the additional participants who sign up after the closed-registration.
“Besides aimed to increase the Islamic knowledge from various speakers, this routine agenda is also as a means for gathering and consolidation of the organization,” said the head of committee Nurhakim.
The event which entitled enlightenment preaching toward Islamic development invites media player as well as the commissioner of Trans Corp Dr Ishadi SK. He would deliver a general lecture about developing the nation optimism. Previously, the event would be opened by the general chairman of PP Muhammadiyah Prof Dr Din Syamsuddin and the chairman of PWM East Java Prof Dr Thohir Luth.
Moreover, the event is also filled with breaking-the-fast gathering with the Governor of East Java Dr Soekarwo. Soekarwo was scheduled to deliver a speech before the kultum (preaching for 7 minutes) nearly Magrib (sunset prayer) which will be delivered by the Rector of University of Muhammadiyah Surabaya Prof Dr Zainuddin Maliki.
On the night, the both chairmen of PP Muhammadiyah Prof HA Malik Fadjar and Prof Dr Syafiq A Mughni would deliver a material about strengthening the ideology of Muhammadiyah in the middle of others ideology. The session would be continued with reporting the result of Tanwir (a national leadership meeting) Muhammadiyah which was held in Bandung last month.
The next day, the event would be filled with discussion about alternative preaching models of Muhammadiyah. This session would present speakers from PCM Sukajadi Bandung, PCM Krembangan Surabaya, PDM Bojonegoro, PDM district of Blitar, Sayap Ibu orphanage and UMM Rector Dr Muhadjir Effendy. The session would be guided by the Vice Chairman of PWM East Java Drs Nur Cholis Huda, MSi.(nas/t_rys)
