A generosity and patience were not easy to be done. For those who were untrained to do would have inhibition and even difficulty to do it. The spirit of struggle and sensitivity to others must be fought for.

The chairman of the central Extended Family of Indonesian Islamic Parties (KBPII) Sutrisno Bachir delivered about the generosity and patience on Monday night (6/25) at University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). On that occasion, SB, a nickname of this businessman from Pekalongan, inaugurated the KBPII administrators in the branch of Malang Raya which was leaded by Prof Dr Maryunani SE MM.

“Someone who is not accustomed to living with the lower social level people will get difficulty to feel other's sufferings. So one will be difficult to be generous,” SB said. Therefore, the generosity must be grown up through being sensitive toward the society. He gave an example, his son who was schooled in Elementary school in Singapore was not used to seeing suffer person and was not accustomed to helping others. As a result, “My son becomes a stingy kid. I expect this does not happen,” he continued.

As well as a patience; to be patient with friends may often happened. “However, what if our patience was tested by our private driver, household servant, and others; can we still be patient?,” asked SB.

SB’s experience as a chairman of a political party made him become a person who had neglected the generosity and patience. In addition, he was a person who always being served and guarded; it made him become a snobbish person.  How could he not, as the number one person in a political party, everything was fulfilled and any received information from the employees was the good one. His everyday life socialized with the elite people and always praised.

“Becomes a chairman of PB PII is a happiness because I can involve among sincere people; we have the same ideology, and the same struggling spirit. I really was in the right path,” said the former chairman of PAN.

On the other hand, SB concerned about the Moslems link who could not make use the business opportunity. In Indonesia, the business links were still controlled by the Chinese. Actualy, a country could develop if all the things in the country were dominated by its native. For instance, “Japan develops because controlled by its native, the same as Korea, China, Turkey, and Arab. Indonesia, however, the native Moslem business is still very low compared to the native Chinese,” stated SB.

That was why, SB invited to the alumni of PII to work and struggle. Do not get hopes up of PII because they were still students who are in the early stages of learning to lead. "It's us the ones who have to struggle. Do not hesitate to come down, if necessary, we must intervene our juniors in PII," said SB.

Meanwhile, the chairman of KB PII of East java Muhadjir Effendy declared that PII had formed its struggling characters. Most of the PII cadres had the same spirit, those were the Moslems unity. “The PII cadre spirit is to make these large Moslems united,” said the UMM Rector. (nov/uci/nas/t_rys)
