Final match of UMM double team when defies Unitri team

After UMM soccer team won Divisi Utama Persema championship last month, it was the time for badminton team to reach the great achievement. In Exercise Week of National Health Day (POR HKN) at Malang, male and female team were successfully defeating the super team from several institutions on Wednesday and Thursday (11/2-3) in the sporting court of YPAC Malang.  

Team coordinator, Ridlo Setyono, stated the victory that won was not easy to be achieved. His team had to face with the superior one, it was Unitri team. “People assume we will lose to stand before Unitri, however, praise be upon God though our player are old enough, we still win to face energetic and powerful student,” declared Ridlo.     

Male team consisted of Ridlo Setyono, Irji’I, Wahid Muslim, M.Ahyar Muslimin, Haery Fadli, Sudjalil, and Baeduri. Those were UMM staff and lecturers. In addition, for the final match, UMM team competed with the students from Student Activity Unit (UKM) of Unitri. Eventually, UMM hard work achieved the point of 2-1.

Furthermore, in segregating point, UMM male team defeated badminton team from Islamic Hospital of Aisyiyah, University of Brawijaya, and Health Service of Malang City. Previously, Unitri had faced the player from RSUD of Saiful Anwar, team that regularly won the competition.

Afterwards, UMM female team consisted of the students of Health Science Faculty and the members of Badminton Students Activity Unit. It was quite different from male team, female team was so easy in achieving the championship. The team that represented by Dewi, Cindi, and Mayang was successfully winning the match with the team of Supraoen Hospital and RSUD of Saiful Anwar.

From its beginning, female team was predicted to be the winner. The team experienced in a lot of match hence they were skillful in it. Since their competition, they continuously achieved the point of 2-0. Moreover, in the final match, they easily win from the team of RSUD of Saiful Anwar.
