Toward the physical completion of University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) Hospital, Muhadjir Efendy,UMM Rector, will add one more reference about Teaching Hospital management. Together with two UMM staff, they are; dr.Tantowi Jauhari,M.Kes and Ir.Syaifullah, MT, Muhadjir will travel to Swiss in the early of next month.
According to the agenda that released by secretariate of the rector, rector will first depart for the invitation of International and Foreign Language Education (IFLE) Department of U.S Education. Together with some rectors of State and Private University in Indonesia, Muhadjir will accompany Minister of National Education of Indonesia M.Nuh in joining U.S Indonesia Higher Education Summit at U.S on October 31, 2011. The meeting is cooperation between U.S and Republic of Indonesia Government.
“The meeting will be begun with the speech delivered by the secretary of U.S Educational Ministry and Republic of Indonesia Educational Ministry. It will be continued by the presentation on research innnovation, community colleges, teaching preparation, and governance of Higher Education,” that was an email received by rector secretary from IFLE.
Having finished attending that meeting, Muhadjir will travel to Swiss. He will meet Tantowi and Ali, two staff who overtake from Indonesia, at Zurich. Muhadjir is scheduled to be a preacher of Idul Adha prayer at Bern on November 6, 2011 under the invitation of Ambassador of Republic of Indonesia for Swiss, Djoko Susilo.
Meanwhile, the visit to Zurich University Hospital will be on Nobember 7 to 8, 2011. There, UMM staff will dig out information and observe 42 specialization clinics owned by the university.
As it was known, UMM Hospital still in finishing process. Its physical building had finished up to 80% while the room for class III under the Province Government assisstance and Republic of Indonesia Health Ministry had reach upon 100%.
The hospital which located at Jl.Raya Tlogomas applied the concept of Eastern and Western service. That concept was also implemented in the form of its physical appearance that was oriental and modern. Whereas, Eastern concept refered to Tiongkok and Islam tradition though Western one refered to modern medication. To support the concept, it was planned that UMM hopital will be completed with traditional and modern medication research center. (nas/t_vik)
