Health Center


The UMM Medical Center (UMC) is a family doctor health care center established by the Medical Faculty. The University of Muhamadiyah Malang as responsibility to maintain and improve the community’s health towards Healthy Indonesia 2010 goal. 
UMM received a permit letter from Dinas Perijinan (Licensing Agency) of Pemkot (City Government) of Malang Number. 530.08/0302/35.73.314/2007, dated March 8, 2007.

UMM Medical Center provides health services to the general public with the family doctor approach model. Using this model the health service is provided in a comprehensive, sustainable and continuous way while also keeping the cost at a price which can be reached by the whole society to prioritise maximal health service quality.

For patients who cannot come to UMM Medical Center there are available health workers who will provide health services at home.

The UMM Medical Center has an examination room, procedure room and a comfortable waiting room. It is also supported by modern and comprehensive medical devices such as USG or ultra-sonography, ECG or electro cardiography, an ambulance and many more supporting tools which can be used professionally by a family member or general physicians.

There are different types of health services at the UMM Medical Centre: (1) Polyclinic Unit, including General Doctor Poly, Specialist Poly, and Dental Health Clinic Poly, (2) Dispensary Unit, (3) Family Health Unit, servicing the care and referral services from UKS of Muhammadiyah schools in Malang, pregnancy exercise, gymnastics childbirth, elderly neighborhood health center, children’s growth and development, yoga exercise, healthy independent card for the general public, training for young couple (couples).

All types of services are available every day from Monday to Saturday, except on holidays, to maximize the quality of service to the community.
