scholarship

University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) provides various scholarships both domestically and abroad. The scholarships come from campus, government and foreign parties.

The scholarships include scholarships to improve academic achievement, scholarships for extracurricular achievement, orphan scholarships, Djarum scholarships and Erasmus + Program.

Ongoing Scholarships
1.    Djarum Scholarship
Description: Scholarship given by PT Djarum for students of all departments through
Djarum Bakti Pendidikan program.
Requirements:
1.   Students need to be in third year (semester 5 )
2.   GPA: 3,00 (at least)
3.   An economically underpriviledged letter
4.   Salary slip of parents
5.   Scholarship period is 1 year
6.   Equipped with softskill consisting of outbound, leadership training, practical skills and entrepreneurship.
 
2.   Supersemar Scholarship
Description: Scholarship given by Supersemar Foundation
Requirements:
1.   GPA: 2,5 (at least)
2.   An economically underpriviledged letter
3.   Salary slip of parents
 
3.    BBM (Bantuan Belajar Mahasiswa/Learning Aid for Students)
Description: Scholarship from the government (DIKTI) for students who are less or unable economically, but they have high academic achievement.
Requirements:
1.     GPA: 2,5 (at least)
2.     Undergraduate students: Semester 2 – 8; Diploma 3 students: Semeter 2 - 6
3.     An underpriviledged letter
4.     Salary slip of parents
5.     A copy of Family Card/Kartu keluarga (KK)
 
4.    PPA     (Peningkatan Prestasi Akademik/Academic Achievement Improvement )
Description: Scholarship from the government (DIKTI) for students who are less or unable economically, but they have high academic achievement.
Requirements:
1.   GPA: 3,0 (at least)
2.   Undergraduate students: Semester 2 – 8; Diploma 3 students: Semeter 2 - 6
3.   An underpriviledged letter
4.   Salary slip of parents
 
5.    PPE (Peningkatan Prestasi Ekstrakurikuler/Extracurricular Achievement Improvement)
Description: Scholarship from the govenrment (DIKTI) for students who are less or unable economically,but they have extracurricular achievement.
Requirements:
1.   GPA: 2,5 (at least)
2.   University, Regional, National, or International Championship Certificate of the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd winner
3.   Undergraduate students: Semester 2 – 8; Diploma 3 students: Semester 2 - 6
4.   An underpriviledged letter
5.   Salary slip of parents
 
6.    Toyota dan Astra
Description: Scholarship from Toyota Astra Foundation for students who are less or unable economically, but they have academic achievements from exact departments (Engineering, Agriculture, Fapetrik, Biology and Mathematics)
Requirements:
1.   GPA: 3,00 (at least)
2.   An underpriviledged letter
3.   Salary slip of parents
4.    Damandiri
Scholarship given by Damandiri Foundation Jakarta
 
5.    TPSDP (Technological And Professional Skills Development Sector Project)
Development Activities of Professional and Skill Education. This scholarship contains of four Batches : Now it is only Batch four
a.    Batch 1 : Students of 2000,2001, and 2002
b.    Batch 2 : Students of 2003
c.    Batch 3 : Students of 2004
d.    Batch 4 : Students of 2005
 
 6.    BKM (Bantuan Khusus Mahasiswa/Special Aid for Students)


SCHOLARSHIP FOR NEW STUDENTS:
 
Description: Scholarship given by UMM for new students.
Types:
1.    Graduates from SMTA Muhammadiyah
2.    Fatherless, motherless, or orphan students who are unable economically (Beasiswa Yatim/Orphanage Scholarship)
3.    Members of Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah who are recommended by PDM (PPUT/PPKU Scholarship)
4.    Siblings of UMM current stundents (Beasiswa Saudara Kandung/ Sibling Scholarship)
Requirements: 
6.    A recommendation letter from the local PDM. (No. 1,2,3)
7.    For Islamic Studies Faculty students only (No. 3)
8.    Students of particular departments (No. 2)
9.    Family Card/Kartu Keluarga (No. 4)
 
ALUMNI Scholarship
Description: Scholarship given by Alumni of University of Muhammadiyah Malang for students with the highest score of SPMB-UMM (admission test) from each faculty
Requirements:
1.The highest score of SPMB-UMM (per wave) of each faculty
      
PART TIME
Description: Part timer is a part-time staff working at UMM.
Goal:
1. Providing job experience for students who will graduate
2. Accelerate student's graduation through economic aid
Requirements:
a. Students of the last semesters with maximum of 2 courses
b. Maximal working period of part timer is 1 year
