Rest Area for 47thMuktamar Supporters in Mamuju, West Sulawesi

Mamuju– The general secretary of Muhammadiyah Central Executive, AgungDanarto, officially opened Command Post (PosKomando/POSKO) of MutamarMuhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah or rest area for the participants and supporters who went through Trans North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, Middle Sulawesi, and East Kalimantan who travelled in land and Ferry Harbor located in PusatDakwahMuhammadiyahFastabiqulKhaeratMamuju San local West Sulawesi on Monday (04/26).

AgungDanarto stated that the opening was a smart move from Muhammadiyah leaders in order to give the best accommodation for Muhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah members who would join the 47thMuktamar in Makassar on 3-7 of August 2015. It was predicted that there would be thousands of supporters and participants of Muktamar who would went through PoskoMamuju, and they would travel by various vehicles such as bus, car, and motorcycle. There would also be the arrival of ferry ship from East Kalimantan.

The Chairman of Muhammadiyah Regional Executive of Mamuju, WahyunMawardi explained that the post was built due to their experience as participants and supporters of Muktamar Aceh, Jakarta, Malang and Yogyakarta, in which almost all Muhammadiyah Regional Executives were busy providing transit accommodation through the route they passed to reach Muktamar location. “With those experiences, we know that Muhammadiyah members and the local government cooperated to provide the best accommodation for all guests of Muktamar in Makassar who go through Mamuju, in consumption provision, medical check-up, we even prepare in providing free reflective massage,” he explained.

The Chief Committee for PoskoMuktamar, Hasbullah, predicted that five days after IedFitri 1436 H Celebration, there would be groups of participants and supporters for Muktamar that would pass through Mamuju, therefore, PDM Mamuju would deploy all District and Sub-district Executive to welcome them and give them good service starting from the border of Middle Sulawesi until they entered South Sulawesi.
