Socialization of Policy Higher Education Accreditation Instruments 3.0 Held at UMM

PERMENRISTEKDIKTI No. 32/2016 mandates that the Higher Education National Accreditation Agency (BAN-PT) develop accreditation instruments relevant to the development of the Higher Education sector in Indonesia and follow the power global developments.
The Higher Education Accreditation Instrument (IAPT), explained the Head of Accreditation Management and Control Office (KPPA) of University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), Dr. H. Ainur Rofiq, M.Kes., have to be developed by considering the diversity of PT model and the mission of the institution of academic programs developed.
Based on Permenristekdikti No. 32/2016 and BAN-PT Regulation No. 2 of 2017 concerning the National Accreditation System for Higher Education, BAN-PT has developed Higher Education Accreditation Instrument 2018, which is briefly written by IAPT 3.0. Meanwhile, the study program accreditation instrument is APS 4.0.
IAPT 3.0 uses 9 criteria namely Vision, Mission, Objectives and Strategy; Civil, Governance, Cooperation; College student; Human Resources; Finance, Facilities, Infrastructure; Education; Research; Community service; Outcomes and Achievements of Tridharma.
"The instrument as a whole measures the level of achievement and exceedance of National Higher Education Standards and the standards set by each university," explained Ainur Rofiq during the policy of Higher Education 3.0 Accreditation Instruments socialization on Saturday (3/11).
 The presented speakers were the Executive Board of BAN-PT, Prof. Dr. Ir. S.M. Widyastuti, M.Sc., and also BAN-PT APT 3.0 and APS 4.0 Instrument Preparation Team Saepudin Nirwan, S.Kom, M.Kom.
The socialization of self-evaluation reports and university performance reports held by UMM in collaboration with BAN-PT and the Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs (Belmawa).
In addition, the certificate of ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) was handed over by UMM Rector represented by Vice Rector 1 in charge of academics, Prof. Dr. Syamsul Arifin, M.Sc., to Biology Education Study Program, Management Study Program, and Animal Husbandry Study Program.
Dengan diserahkannya sertifikat AUN-QA itu, ketiga Prodi ini telah mendapatkan pengakuan untuk memiliki keselarasan, terutama dalam bidang jasa pendidikan dan jaminan mutu di tingkat Asia Tenggara.
With the AUN-QA certificate being handed over, the three study programs have gained recognition to have harmony, especially in the field of education services and quality assurance at the Southeast Asian level.
Syamsul said, at the national level, UMM had been 10 years sequentially received Superior Campus Award (AKU) Kopertis VII East Java and also institution A accreditation from the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT). Furthermore, UMM expects to compete at the international level.
"The certification obtained by UMM at the ASEAN level will increase the recognition and competition of students and alumni, especially at the ASEAN level," concluded Syamsul.
The event was also attended by Foster University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo (Umsida) and University of PGRI Ronggolawe (Uniro). Also, all Muhammadiyah (PTM) univesities throughout East Java. (*)
