The Faculty of Law, University of Muhammadiyah Malang (FH UMM) was committed to improving the quality of graduates which cooperated with Dewan Pimpinan Cabang (DPC) Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia (PERADI), Malang.
PERADI and FH UMM created an Advocate Professional Special Education (PKPA) program to develop FH students in the field of advocacy. By participating in this program, UMM Faculty of Law graduates will carry out their status as advocates.
The previous year, PERADI had collaborated with the Faculty of Law UMM through a similar program. Iwan Kuswardi. SH, as the chairman of DPC PERADI of Malang, thanked FH UMM for being given the opportunity to work together again.
Continued by Iwan, the previous PERADI program produced good results. That was, with many qualified graduates as advocates. Iwan hoped that the coverage of this area of special advocate education graduates can be expanded.
Not only in the scope of Malang City but also this year's program will cover all scopes in Malang. That was Malang Regency and Batu City. "So that the UMM Law Faculty students can exist in the world of advocates," explained Iwan.
Dean of UMM Faculty of Law Dr. Tongat SH., M.Hum, said that the need to improve the quality of programs provided by PERADI is not only concerned with the number of graduates so that the selling power of graduates can increase.
According to Tongat, this quality needed to be taken seriously. "In addition, I hope that PERADI opens access to broader cooperation that includes all Tri Dharma College," said Tongat. (Win)
