A visitor saw a picture by photojournalist from Tempo and the Alumni of IKOM UMM, Amston Probel in the exhibition of Journalism Photo-Perjalanan Tanpa Batas at Helypad UMM.
Signing the 25th birthday, Semi-Autonomous Institution (LSO) Journalistic Photography Club (Jufoc) Faculty of Social and Politic Science University of Muhammadiyah Malang (FISIP UMM) held exhibition with theme Pameran Tanpa Batas (Patas). Patas showed photography works since the first generation, it was 1989 to 2014.
This exhibition also presented photography works from member of Jufoc which is nominated as Top 100 of Time Magazine; it is the nomination the best photos of Time Magazine, it also some photos that won other competitions. This event was held from Monday to Wednesday (2-4/3) at Helipad UMM.
Chief of Jufoc Roizul Rizal said, this exhibition not only showed work from Digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera, but also there were taken from phone camera. “In this exhibition there are 46 single photography of 25 photographer and 22 story photo of 16 photographers,” said Rizal.
While the coach of Jufoc UMM Rhadi MSi in his speech said, the age that achieved by Jufoc this time is very good age. He also expected, LSO can continue to exist in the world of photography Indonesia. “Hope your photography works not only bring name of Jufoc in national level, but also to international level,” he said.
In the same thing was also delivered by Head of Communication Department UMM, Sugeng Winarno MA. From photography works on the display, many things can be learn from a photo. “We can learn many things from this exhibition, there are a lot of thing can be explored from a photo which was shown,” said Sugeng.
Patas visitor not only from UMM, one of them is M Taufiq Akbar. The Chief of Student Activity Unit (UKM) Photography Prisma University of Diponegoro (Undip) Semarang also brought nine members to attend this exhibition.
“It’s Already to be a tradition for student of photography community Indonesia to visit the events that held by other photography community,” said Taufiq.
He also appreciated the exhibition that held by Jufoc UMM in his silver year. “The pictures are really good. Congratulation for Jufoc,” he said. (zul/hant/t_zuh)
