The Chief of BPSDM, Dra. Su’adah, M.Si stated that the workshop was aimed to improve the staffs skills in handling the employees' database through the modern system. “As an IT-based university, this is very important for the employees,” said she. Besides, the workshop was aimed to identify any data needed by lecturers or employees in UMM. That was why ,in that workshop, questionnaire form was designed for the identification.
The workshop was taken place in Vice Rector I Auditorium, and it was attended by a consultant from J. Tanzil & Co, Heru Hendratno, SE and Dian R. Fajar Ratih, S. PSi. The participants were 16 experts in human resources development. They were from BPSDM unit, Facult of Psychology, Faculty of Law, ICT Centre, and UMM staffs.
Vice rector II, Drs. Mursidi MM, opened the workshop. In his speech, he hoped the participants were seriously arranging the database. It was because the database were very important to provide any personal information in UMM. “Through the systematic database, it will be easier to get any personal data, so the decision can be decided soon by the top management," said he.
Tri Muji Ingarianti, S. Psi, M.Psi, the chief of committee, explained further that the workshop was a good preparation to make ICT-based personal database in UMM. Through it, the questionnaire form designing would be easier so the target could be gotten. The making of personal database would be finished on Juliy2010, minimum 70 percent. (trs/nas/t_ris)
