Muhammadiyah Cadre is asked Become Entrepreneur

National Seminar of Muhammadiyah Cadre second day, Saturday (16/5) at University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) was closed by motivation for entrepreneur. In the fourth panel themed “Success Story Entrepreneurship”, present as the speaker is Ir Muhammad Najikh and H Marmin Siswojo, with the moderator Ir Iman Supriyono MM.  

Siswojo who is also the Chairman of Muhammadiyah Regional Leader (PDM) Blitar city who started the seminar by telling the first beginning of entrepreneurship. “In the past I was teacher in elementary school in 1971, and I want to find additional income because my salary is only enough for three weeks, and I have two children,” he said.

All efforts and hard work was paid by his business that growing rapidly. “Last time I only have 40 chickens, in this time we already to be the supplier one of fast food restaurant in East Java, hatchery quail, natural chicken, even organic factory and motor cycle dealer,” said Siswojo.

Similarly with Najikh, entrepreneur who also as Daily Executive Board (BPH) University of Muhammadiyah Gresik (UMG) who also has a business and his product already exported all over the world, such as Japan, Australia, China, Europe, until America. “In the world today, who has strong economy will be considered,” he said.  

According to him, Muhammadiyah has strong asset. Many of charitable business separated all over Indonesia, it is made Muhammadiyah should be able to utilize it as an opportunity to make charitable business in the field of economy. “The magnet of Muhammadiyah is very large, an opportunity is opened widely for cadres to be entrepreneur,” said Najikh.

In order to make Muhammadiyah cadre to be entrepreneur, Najikh added, cadre must be persecuted to be innovative and creative. “Don’t be afraid to start a business. Make this business for the advancement of Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah,” he said.  

Previously, the seminar was opened in third panel with speaker Nur Cholis Huda, MSi, Dr Achmad Norma Permata, MM, and Dr Latipun themed “Telaah atas Model Perkaderan Muhammadiyah”. While for previous day, Friday (15/5), the seminar was opened by keynote speech from the chief of MPR RI, Dr (HC) Zulkifli Hasan, MM, also continued by first panel themed “Perkembangan Politik Indonesia dan Tantangan Muhammadiyah” also second panel themed “Pengembangan Jaringan dan Perkaderan Berbasis AUM”.
