In 2045, Indonesia will be in its golden era where the development takes precedence. Continuing the programs of the previous minister, the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi has built many infrastructures for two years working in the Kbinet Kerja (Working Cabinet).
Attending the National Dialog “Indonesia Maju (the Advanced Indonesia) held at University of Muhammadiyah Malang, Budi Karya conveyed that the advanced Indonesia is determined by the youths. “The future of Indonesia is in your hands”. In front of 7000 students at UMM Hall Dome, Budi praised UMM in building infrastructures for the convenience of the teaching and learning process.”When I ust arrived at this campus, I was so amazed to see the splendor of the buildings. I asked the Rector how the process in constructing them”. This event was also the moment Budi became the honorary member of UMM Family.
Budi mentioned the infrastructures that his ministry has built. The infrastructures development now is also being focused in East Indonesia. “Don’t worry, if you go to Papua, you will pass nice roads”.
Minister of Education and Culture, Muhadjir Effendy also attended this dialog. These two ministers explained the synergy of two ministries. Muhadjir revealed that the ministry of education and culture has a target to build 20.000 PAUD schools (Early Childhood Education). “We run this program cooperated with the ministry of transportation”.
Rector UMM, Fauzan conveyed that UMM students must have self-development. According to him, the development of human resources have been provided adequate facilities. “You have to prepare yourself to be competent and professional”.
At the end of the agenda, Budi handed over a Micro Bus while the Ministry of Education and Culture handed over a Cinema Car to UMM which is intended to support the academic facilities. Budi and Muhdjir are hoping that UMM students will take part in advancing Indonesia. (lus)
