DPPM To Target Over 60% Proposals of Research and Community Service Will Be Gained From Dikti’s Funding

MINISTRY of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristek Dikti) has launched a proposal guidebook for research and community service of XI edition. Responding to that, the Directorate of Research and Community Services (DPPM) University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) held socialization of guidebook of  research implementation and community service of XI edition to all lecturers on Saturday (1/4) at the Auditorium of UMM.

DPPM head Prof. Dr. Ir. Sujono, M. Kes stated that uploaded proposal of research and community services planning based on Finance Minister regulation No. 106 of 2016. It has been regulated about the Output Cost Standard (SBK). All expenditures,vwhich designed by the lecturer was expected to improve the achievement of predetermined outcomes.

The Guidebook of XI edition also explained a description of each scheme, research and community services. It was described on how the procedure of applying, proposal selection, monitoring and evaluating of implementation even the ways to write a result activities.

Not only that, recently, the Guidebook of XI edition also described readiness of technology (TKT). TKT has been starting to be used by Kemenristek Dikti to map out research activities that associated with the level of readiness of technology. "TKT is used to support downstream and commercialization of research results," Sujono said.

So far, just a fewo f  lecturer research can be commercialized. DPPM boosted all faculties to apply for an external research. "So far, the new external research reached 60%, we continue to encourage so  an independent clusters that have been obtained by UMM can be maintained," he added. (Naz)
