Campus Market on EGTC 2018 Giving Space for UMM Youth Entrepreneurs

Being an entrepreneur is a way for young people to earn money and become independent in life. This year, EMTEK Goes To Campus (EGTC) 2018 came to UMM holding Campus Market joined by 58 student entrepreneurs. Mohammad Isnaini, the Coordinator of Campus Market as well as the Secretary of Public Relation of UMM, revealed that this event was an appreciation of UMM for young entrepreneurs who are studying at UMM. “Campus Market on EGTC is our appreciation for young entrepreneurs at UMM”.

This event was started on Wednesday to Thursday (26-27/0) visited by many students who intended to buy certain products or just for window shopping. One of the visitors, Verina Ayu who is a new student of Sociology Department, Faculty of Social and Political Science UMM, conveyed that she was happy coming to Campus Market because she could directly see the products. “I could only see the products through advertisements before, but now I can see the real products”.

UMM entrepreneurs enthusiastically welcome this event. Miftakhurrohmah Zaky Al Makin, a student of Faculty of Psychology UMM admitted that she was happy to take a part in this event. “I am happy to take a part in this Campus Market. This is the place where we can develop our business”.

UMM does not only facilitate the students to promote their products, but also educate them to have a character of entrepreneur through Career and Entrepreneurship course. (lus)
