"There is no day without achievement, there is no achievement that is not appreciated," this jargon was always instilled in all students of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). Like Marta Frily Adetya, who got gold at the National Student Sports Week (POMNAS) 2019, the woman who was familiarly called Marta Competed in the Kempo Randori (free fighting) category in the 55 kg class on Thursday (9/26).
Marta was successfully chosen to represent East Java Province after she was the best at the East Java Regional Student Sports Week a few months ago. Located in Central Jakarta Cempaka Putih Gor, Marta succeeded to become the best after defeated representatives from Lampung province in the final party.
Previously, Marta had to fight 19 participants from various provinces in Indonesia. The event which was held on September 24-26 required Marta to make a strategy in order to maintain physical condition and won the match in each round.
According to the woman born in Malang, January 5, 1998, she succeeded to become the best at the event shaded by RISETDIKTI because she learnt from failures experienced at the same event in 2017. "The most distinguishing is the portion of training and experience. Alhamdulillah, for now, the portion of training has been better and experience has also increased, "said Marta.

Aside from the adequate training portion, Marty also had her own strategy where she never wanted to know about the opponent's background and track record. "I did that because my opponent's background and track record can affect my mentality and focus. By not knowing the opponent's track record, I am better able to maintain focus and not discriminate against opponents, "said Marta.
Even when Marta was interviewed, she admitted did not know the opponents she faced come from in the final party.
Even though Marta had to go from Malang to Surabaya to practice, she did not lose the spirit which was the daughter of the Hariono and Bawon Suci Sri Widat. It was proven that she succeeded to become the East Java Pra PON team which was currently being prepared to take part in the XX PON selection in Banjarmasin. (win)
